wondered what it would be like to "fly" weightlessly, see clearly and breathe under
water we have special one-day PADI courses to introduce you to the
magic of tropical coral reefs.
If you are already a
certified diver come out for fun dives, or do a bit of training in nice
warm water to

Newest
Wreck
Pattaya's
newest wreck was sunk as a diver attraction and artificial reef a year
ago. She's
the Luang Khud, a medium-sized landing craft and a sister ship of the
HTMS Khram which was sunk off Pattaya in January 2002.

Diving in
Thailand
Diving in Thailand centres on Pattaya, Koh Samui and Koh
Tao in the Gulf of Siam and on Phuket and Koh Phi Phi in the
Andaman Sea. You can dive on magical coral reefs; go down on
wrecks in warm, clear water and float with clouds of tropical
fish. Thailand is great for people who want to learn to
dive.
Pattaya, being more northerly, is not subject to the
monsoon seasons that can affect locations in the south. We have a
rainy season, but we don't get the sudden, fierce, tropical storms
that can strike without warning in the south of
Thailand.
It is also a great place for families and solo travellers.
Hotels in Pattaya offer the best value for money anywhere in the
world and you can eat out in a different restaurant every night of
the year and sample the cuisine of a score or more
countries.
As well as being a fun place Pattaya also blends
the best of the east and the west. You can eat sea-fresh prawns,
lobster and crabs sitting under the stars on a balmy warm evening;
party every night, stroll around Buddhist temples, visit a
sapphire mine, go for an elephant trek, watch an amazing show
where all the girls are boys, or another where the stars are
crocodiles; bungee jump, sky-dive, sail, jet-ski, go game-fishing,
learn to fly a micro-lite, look at orchids in a wonderful garden
resort, go to a floating market....the list is
endless.
And, if things go wrong there are
three, first-class international hospitals, which not only
offer excellent health care, but also attract many people
who come for cosmetic surgery and dentistry at bargain
prices.
If you are looking for a fun hotel to stay -
right in the heart of Pattaya's sizzling nightlife - then
click on the Penthouse Hotel logo below.
But if you want somewhere where the
main noise at night is the song of crickets and frogs then
we know just the place. |
